With the drive to “blow minds” and create an inclusive community that fosters individuality, Zumiez hosts numerous engaging and immersive events for employees and customers. During my internship with the Brand Marketing Department, I collaborated with various teams and fellow designers to produce promotional materials for these events.

The creative department encourages bold choices and unconventional solutions. With the support of my design team, I took good ideas and evolved them into unexpected solutions.

Holiday Sticker

Every quarter, Zumiez releases a new sticker that is given out with all orders both in-store and online. Originally pitched for in-store signage, my concept was selected to evolve into the upcoming holiday sticker design. Over 4 million copies of the final sticker were distributed worldwide during the 2019-2020 holiday season.

Catch these stuck to car bumpers, stop signs, Zumiez store counters, video game consoles, and coolers near you.

Rocktember

Rocktember is an annual, employee-only event that hosts regional, district, and store managers from Zumiez retail locations across the globe. The 3-day festival is an engaging opportunity for employees to expand their knowledge of the Zumiez brand, connect with other employees, and have face-to-face interactions with the brands they carry in their stores.

Given the theme of travel, a logo, and a few assets created by one of my design team members, I developed a visual direction and numerous assets for the event.

Swixxz In-Store Event

Maggie Lindemann, the founder of SWIXXZ clothing line, did a meet-and-greet event at a Zumiez store in Boston. I designed all pre-promotion print and digital work (including emails and social media posts), day-of-event signage, activation assets, and post-event digital assets.
